Port Vila: The capital Port Vila is located around it's beautiful and magnificent natural harbour.
With it's French-style ambience and stunning location it's one of Oceania's most attractive towns.

Shopping is plentiful too, duty-free shops, and the friendly, non-pushy locals make it a relaxed, enjoyable and hassle-free experience.National Museum of Vanatu: The superb National Museum of Vanuatu has a large, well-displayed selection of traditional exhibits and artefacts such a huge outrigger canoe, ceremonial clothes and headdresses and examples of Lapita and Wusi pottery. It also houses photographic displays of traditional ceremonies and legends.
SS President Coolidge: A 22,000 ton luxury liner which was converted to a troop ship, it sank fully laden during WWII. Lying just a few metres off the beach, famous for it's ceramic lady and unicorn figure it's the most sought-after wreck dive in the world. Swim along it's promenade deck and see the ship's huge 3" gun, along with rifles, gas masks, helmets and ammunition.
Yasur Volcano: Known as the Lighthouse of the Pacific because of its regular eruptions, Yasur volcano is one of the world's most active volcanoes. Situated on Tanna Island in southern Vanuatu, you'll feel the ground underfoot tremble as a fountain of fiery, flaming, molten magma shoots up and explodes against the sky.
